ODE TO A GOOD BOWL OF OATMEAL

FOR ALL YOU OFFICE OLYMPICS CONTESTANTS, HERE IS A LITTLE TID BIT THAT MIGHT HELP YOU ON MONDAY... OR AT LEAST HELP ONE PERSON WE ALL KNOW AND LOVE...
ON BEHALF OF TEAM JUGGERNAUT 3, HERE GOES:

HOW TO MAKE A GOOD BOWL OF OATMEAL:
Empty packet into bowl.
Add up to 2/3 cup boiling water; stir.
For thicker oatmeal, use less water.
Wait until oatmeal has cooled before eating as to avoid a scrunchy “too hot” face or burnt tongue. Eat oatmeal slowly as to avoid stomach cramps.
Wipe mouth between spoonfuls.
Upon completion take oatmeal bowl to sink (READ VERY CLOSELY, THE NEXT PART IS THE ONE THAT ALWAYS THROWS PEOPLE).
Avoid leaving empty oatmeal bowl sit in office for long amounts of time to avoid crusty bowl.
Turn on faucet and rinse bowl with hot water.
Take dish sponge and wipe out bowl.
Empty dirty water and oatmeal residue into sink.
Place bowl on TOP shelf of the dishwasher and spoon into silverware holder in dishwasher.
ENJOY!!

I always get a little confused by the names of things -- like "Dishwasher." If I'M washing the dish, what's the dishwasher doing? In today's economy, I don't want to take anybody's job. So, it feels a little selfish when I weasel in on the Diswasher's business. Sooooo... please have compassion on our poor dishwasher. Think of his family before you ask someone to take his job. Next thing we're going to outsource our dishwashing to India -- gasp!
